Using leaf's chat channels will allow you to have different sections of chat and customize their behavior further!

Creating Channels

Open customizer, go to "New creation" and click on "Channel"

You'll need to set a Unique ID, and a channel name

Prefix Formatting

Channels will add a prefix to chat messages, there is a default format set but if you need to change it, <cc> can be used for the channel color, and <cn> can be used for the channel name

There is also an option to show or not show the prefix

Joinable Roles

If you have extra roles set up in Role Editor, you can choose which roles can join that channel.

Visibility

You can choose how messages are displayed to others

Local mode

This is leaf's solution to proximity text chat! Once enabled, you can configure the radius and only players in that radius can see messages from others in that channel

Show to everyone

Will make messages in this channel show to other players that arent in that channel

Role/Channel Forwarding

You can forward messages to display in other channels or roles

Joining channels

You can do /channel join <name> Do not include brackets
